Common questions
- Does ACE take a commission?
- No. Your charter is paid directly to your broker or operator. Travelers pay ACE a 0.5% fee after a completed trip, and nothing else.
- Why is there a $500 hold?
- It keeps requests serious, so brokers and operators answer fast. It's a hold, not a charge. It lasts 4 business days, or until your trip is booked, whichever comes first, and your bank takes 3 to 4 business days to show it released. Each trip request gets its own hold. After a completed trip, ACE charges the 0.5% fee to the same card.
- When does the free trial start?
- When your company is Confirmed. Until then nothing is charged.
- What happens after the operator trial?
- You pick a plan, or your listing stays up in the Directory without bidding.
- Is News really free?
- Yes. News, weather and official alerts will always be free for everyone.
While ACE is in beta, requests go out without the hold and no fee is charged.
